Supernatual Abundance

Luke 6:38
"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Luke 6:38
Supernatural abundance, within a biblical framework, refers to God's provision that goes beyond natural means, human effort, or logical explanation. It's not merely having enough, but experiencing an overflow sourced directly from God's limitless power and grace. This abundance isn't restricted solely to material wealth; it encompasses spiritual richness, relational depth, emotional well-being, divine opportunities, and physical provision that defies ordinary circumstances. It stems from the understanding that God is the ultimate owner of all resources and delights in blessing His children in ways that demonstrate His power and faithfulness, often exceeding our expectations and understanding.
The foundation for supernatural abundance lies in God's very nature and His infinite capacity. He is not limited by earthly economies, scarcity mindsets, or human limitations. Scripture describes Him as El Shaddai, the All-Sufficient One, capable of doing "immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us" (Ephesians 3:20). This power isn't dormant; it's actively working. Believing in supernatural abundance requires shifting our perspective from what we can achieve on our own to what God can accomplish through His divine intervention and inexhaustible resources.
Accessing this dimension of God's provision often involves principles of faith, obedience, and generosity. It requires trusting God even when circumstances seem bleak and acting on His instructions found in Scripture. A key principle is highlighted in Luke 6:38: "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." This verse vividly portrays a supernatural return – not just getting back what was given, but receiving an overflowing, divinely multiplied measure that surpasses natural laws of exchange. It suggests that generosity, driven by faith, opens a channel for God's supernatural supply.
However, the purpose of supernatural abundance is not merely personal enrichment or comfort. God provides supernaturally so that His people can be conduits of His blessing to others, fund the work of His kingdom, meet the needs of the less fortunate, and ultimately bring glory to His name. When God provides in ways that defy explanation, it serves as a powerful testimony to His goodness and power in the world. Therefore, seeking supernatural abundance should be coupled with a heart posture ready to steward those resources wisely and generously according to God's purposes.
In conclusion, supernatural abundance is a manifestation of God's extraordinary power and generous heart, extending beyond the material into every area of life. It is accessed through faith, obedience, and often activated by generosity, as illustrated in Luke 6:38. While it can include financial blessing, its scope is far broader, aiming ultimately to equip believers to bless others and glorify God. It challenges us to look beyond the natural realm and trust in the limitless capacity of our Heavenly Father to provide exceedingly, abundantly, above all we could ask or think.
